Bridging Ancient and Modern Healing Modalities
When I decided to move forward with opening a Energy Genesis (formerly Life Vessel) center in 2013, I felt it was important to keep my moderately covert shamanic healing practice separate. My decision didn’t seem to make sense to a lot of people, but I wanted to get to know the Energy Genesis and the ways in which it promoted self-healing without muddying the waters with another modality. My initial sense was that the two approaches – Energy Genesis therapy and shamanic healing – would complement each other well, but I didn’t know what it would look like.
It’s been over a year and funny thing, around the time I was seeing how the two therapies really are a sound match, people started asking if I offered shamanic healing in conjunction with Energy Genesis sessions. You don’t have to hit me over the head with a two-by-four (okay, maybe on occasion). I guess it’s time to unite the two practices!
What is the benefit of combining Shamanic Healing and Life Vessel therapy?
Where the Energy Genesis brings the dissonant frequencies of your body (caused by emotional, physical trauma and environmental toxins) into harmony, shamanic healing addresses the root of an unhealthy pattern by changing the unconscious storyline that’s feeding the pattern. These storylines involve instances, typically from childhood, when you lost personal power. The stain of these painful experiences play themselves out in patterns of unhealthy relationships, low self-esteem, self-sabotage, poor health, etc.
Although the workings of both modalities are complex, here’s an overly simple way of differentiating the two:
Energy Medicine The Energy Genesis uses frequencies to address energetic patterns of disharmony and imbalance.
Spirit Medicine Shamanic Healing uses conscious dreaming to address subconscious patterns of fear and powerlessness.
